B Day

So – “B Day” it is then. The day has arrived for our esteemed PM to deliver her vision of Brexit – a vision that entails complete capitulation to the Fourth Reich. The word ‘treason’ comes to mind.

There was never going to be a deal. There was never going to be a ‘difficult woman’ facing up to Brussels. The only ‘difficult woman’ there appears to have been is one who is facing up to her electorate and her cabinet. Her approach has been appalling throughout these sham negotiations.

Concession after concession after concession has been made. She’s prepared to give the EU £39 billion of the taxpayers money (Yes, it’s your money. The Government has no money of its own!) in exchange for what? In exchange for staying in a customs union that we voted to leave, in exchange for rules being forced upon us that we have no say in negotiating, for being prevented from making free trade deals with America, India, China, Australia, New Zealand and Japan who are all waiting to sign up.

She’s giving away our fishing rights, the supremacy of our courts, the right to define our own borders. In exchange for what? A document that defines what a future EU/UK trade deal MIGHT look like. MIGHT FFS! Not WILL!!

If we are able to produce a trade deal prospectus then I suggest that we get the deal signed before forking our our hard earned taxes to an unelected anti democratic hegemony.

One hundred years ago, millions died fighting for democracy. 80 years ago millions more died fighting the Third Reich. If this deal is forced through today, then I sincerely hope that those millions of lost souls will rise up and haunt the bastards that are selling this great country down the river because they will have died for nothing.

I sincerely hope that this fudge fails to get cabinet approval because no self respecting person who cares about his or her country could ever look themselves in the face if they sign up for this travesty of democracy. Let the resignations ring. Get those letters into the 1922 committee. Give us a leader who will stand up for this country, it’s people and democracy because that leader is not Theresa May!

Yes it’s B Day. It’s an apt description because Bidets are full of shit…

  1. Posted at mine. Excellent but soberingly awful as to what is going on.

  2. Theresa May

    An EU stooge.

Imagine her pay off must be substantial for betraying her country.

    A nasty spineless traitor.

Two years of lying to her own party and voters

Two years of meaningless discussions with the EU.

Two years of worry and concern from all those who believed her, and for promised the Conservatives states in their manifesto.

Two years British businesses have had to worry about what would happen if a no deal resulted. 6 months to go and still no idea.

Two years of arguments and nastiness between Leavers and Remoaners.

And for what exactly? She has broken every promise made in the their manifesto, is wanting to give away in excess of £40b of our money and then has the audacity and fucking nerve to stand up in the House of Parliament and to tell everyone she is delivering Brexit and what Leavers voted for.

Everything from the moment the bitch was elected has been carefully managed, agreed in advance with the EU and staged.

For this she has to go.

Hope she and her conspirators rot in hell for eternity for what they have done.

  3. It’s not anything like I voted for.

Simply I voted to Leave. What is on offer cannot be considered acceptable under any definition of the word Leave

The ‘transition period’ is expected to be extended, yet again, yawn, taking us into 2022, which means we’ll also be into the 4th Reich for an extra £18 billion net, bringing the golden goodbye total (so far) up to £57 billion. Have we nothing better to spend this money on?

    HS2? Olly Robbins’ pension? Ffs.

  5. In real life I have witnessed several couples divorce – and it was all going to be all so amicable a the outset. None ended that way, yet it was always – and I do mean always – very small niggly things and access to the kids.

Brexit’s no different; it’s the side that feels rejected that’s got the hump. We’re a bloody good cash cow and we do follow their rules, so all they have always wanted is to keep that rolling in.

Oh, and like the visitation rights, we’ll we get our finance thing, they get our fish.

It was never going to be amicable and that’s not going to change. It’s also their – pretty transparent – attempt to cut the legs off the populist / nationalist parties that are expected to make substantial gains at the next EU elections.

I don’t think it’ll work with those parties, personally I hope to see them making up at least 20% of the next EU parliament.

If, as sometimes happens in real divorces, the advice of an intermediary is sought, then in the case of Brexit, the advice might be to become equally intransigent.

So hard Brexit toward the end of March 2019.

That will send a message to others who want out of the EU to quit the BS and get it over with quickly.

  6. I like Mrs May’s new term to describe ‘Remain’…

    “No Brexit At All”

Which is what will be on the ballot paper, along with ‘Bad Deal’, in the 3rd Referendum, that Parliament will inevitably vote to hold.
