Amazing news this week that scientists claim to have identified a new particle that is believed to be the building block of all things…
After searching for years for the theoretical particle, it has been discovered at Westminster inside David Cameron’s head. The particle – known as the ‘Nick Bossman’ – forms the basic building block of all things since the birth of the coalition, also known as the ‘Big society’ event.
As Steven Hawking explained : “We have believed for years that there was nothing inside Cameron’s head but nature abhors a vacuum and we knew that – close as it may have been – there can be no such thing as a total vacuum. Even outer space is not completely empty. So the question was ‘what’s going on in there?’
“The Nick Bossman was put forward as the theoretical solution, although until a couple of years ago nobody was able to find it. Then in May 2010 came the big breakthrough. Scientists collided voters together in what was the most important election of our times with an outcome that nobody expected.
“Suddenly there it was. A completely unknown particle was identified as the only possible explanation for electing a Conservative Prime Minister.”
At the moment, no-one is certain exactly how the particle works but we do know that without it a stable government would not have been possible.
But the discovery has only prompted more questions : What is the particles half-life? Can it survive constant colisions with conflicting particles? What is the particle’s true composition?
Only time can give us the answers…
